GOOD NEWS!

We are delighted to announce that the Revd Francesca Reid has been appointed as Rector of Brede with Udimore, Beckley and Peasmarsh . She joins us from her current role as Assistant Curate at Wolverton Holy Trinity, Old Wolverton and St George's Wolverton in the Diocese of Oxford, marking her first incumbency as a full-time stipendiary priest.

Francesca will be joined by her husband, The Revd Hugh Richard Reid who has been appointed as Priest in Charge of Salehurst, Hurst Green and Robertsbridge. Hugh joins the Diocese from his current role as Assistant Curate at Olney St Peter and St Paul in the Diocese of Oxford, also marking his first incumbency as a full-time stipendiary priest.

Hugh and Francesca will be living in the Rectory in Brede.

​

The licensing service dates are yet to be confirmed. Please join us in offering prayers of welcome and support for Francesca and Hugh as they step into this new ministry among these parishes. May God bless their leadership and the shared mission ahead.
