And behold the air was filled With the rushing and glistening Wings of angels who took the Stones of the church and carried them over the water. As they did so the night winds bore back the chant at the onlookers

ANGELS IN UDIMORE

And suddenly there was with the Angel, a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying Glory to God in the highest and on earth Peace and Goodwill towards all men …........

Please help us spread Peace and Goodwill during these difficult times as we travel towards Christmas by creating a multitude of Angels in Udimore.

We need as many people as possible to join in to make an Angel to bring light to our gateways or doorsteps.  There will be prizes for the best Angels!  There are no rules about the size or composition of the Angels, although they should be as weatherproof as possible and big enough to be easily visible from the road/lane or pathway so that the judges and everyone passing by can see them.  They must be well secured and must be far enough away from the road edge so as not to interfere with traffic or too close so that overhanging vehicles hit them.

We look forward to seeing the Angels 'landing' in Udimore from 1st December.  Judging of the Angels will be carried out on Monday 21st.

Huge thanks from St Mary’s PCC.
