The village came together on Friday 3rd June to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at Parsonage Farm. The day started with two walks, one shorter that other, skirting the boundary of the village, starting and ending at Parsonage. This was followed by a village picnic, with music, a bouncy castle, children's entertainment - including an art competition and a busy bar, culminating in a village Jubilee photograph. I think everyone enjoyed the chance to get together on this special day to celebrate the Queen's 70 years on the throne. Thank you to everyone involved, especially the Wheeler family who so kindly allowed us to use their beautiful grounds for the festivities.
