UDIMORE GET 'BACK' TOGETHER

Thank you to everyone who came to the Udimore "Get 'back' together" last Saturday, luckily we were blessed with a beautiful sunny afternoon. There was a great turn-out with about 80 villagers attending the event. The children enjoyed the bouncy castle and villagers, new and old, enjoyed looking at some of the old photos and books about Udimore, revisiting lovely memories. As the first Udimore gathering for well over a year, everyone hugely enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new villagers, including our new Rector Owen, his wife Anna and baby son Henry.

Thanks must go to the Parish Council, Friends of St Mary's, St Mary's Village Hall committee and the PCC for holding the event. Special thanks to Frank and Celia Langrish for organising the event as well as the delicious bbq. Adam Hart who organised the drink and John and Jenny Hanlon for manning the bar. Loopy Mair for the delicious brownies and all the helpers who set up and cleared away the event as well organising the parking.
